|

Hi,
i've installed the GRP3 for ppc on a Powerbook G4. There were no probs thru the installation, after the first reboot the system comes up, starts all necessary daemons and I get the User Login.
And then the problems starts. I can't input anything, only the Hard Reboot FN+POWER helps for shutdown.
Any idea what's going on with my system ?

Are you getting any input from the keyboard? I've seen a problem with the keymap borking when the proper modules were not enabled for interpretation of the input codes. With them enabled, I have good keys in X, but virtual console input is borked. I've lived with this as a limitation for a year and a half.
If you need the modules list and/or the proc workaround, I can post it later. I think they are listed in the in the PPC installation notes though. |

Hmmm,
thanx, i'll check the install papers, maybe there is something what i didn't read. At my last try the box didn't freeze - ok I think so, cause after a while the power management shutdown the monitor. I couldn't still wake up the box after that, but maybe there's log file....
