Just an idea, but while installing gentoo (for the first "real" time) I am missing screen during the installation process...
I'm not sitting behind the machine I'm installing to (it's way to noisy), so I'm connected thru ssh and working with my notebook... All well and great and stuff, but starting from stage_1 takes a long time (a noisy computer doesn't allways mean a fast computer  ) and I have to be connected to the computer all this time, which isn't allways possible... (ok, it has to be obviously)
I think including screen on the LiveCDs would solve this and it wouldn't increate the LiveCDs by much...  |

| The live CD I use DOES have screen...did it get removed? |

Ok, I'll be silent now... Off course I tried to run screen after chrooting into the "installed" system and it wasn't there...
