Konqueror Problem....

Upon trying to run Konqueror I get the message "libcreposix.so.0". I have searched and found that kdelibs sometimes misses this dependency. People have fixed this by remerging the "dev-libs/pcre" package.
My problem is that I have tried "emerge pcre" and it says there are no builds by that name. I also tried "emerge dev-libs/pcre" with the same result. What is the correct command to emerge this?

$ qpkg -f /usr/lib/libpcreposix.so.0
dev-libs/libpcre

hi, im having the same problem.

i was able to just run emerge libpcre though

however, when i do that

it starts out fine, then i get the following error:

dftables.o: file not recognized: File format not recognized
Collect2: ld returned 1 exit status

does anyone know what this means?

ok, heres all it says, it does all the checking stuff, then it does the executing default commands, and has all the stuff building stuff, then it comes to this line

gcc -mcpu=k6-2 -03 -pipe -I. -I, -o dftables dftables.o
dftables.o: file not recognized: File format not recognized
Collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make: *** [dftables] Error 1
