Conexant RS56 modem I want to use for VOCP.
First, I need to get the modem working.
I did lspci and I didn't see it show up. I'm assuming it should, right?
I'm just not quite sure if it should or shouldn't show up when I do lspci.
Any help is appreciated!

| Maybe you havent installed a modem driver yet (Im assuming its an hsf software modem) |

I think the modem is borked. I emerged that driver and it said it couldn't find the modem. I gave up on it, I'll buy a genuinely linux supported modem soon.

| I suggest you have a look here to see if there's a supported driver if the hsflinmodem package doesn't find anything... |
