I've got two questions:
1)
My mobo, and Abit BX133, officially supports only 2x AGP cards, which, to my understanding, means a 66Mhz AGP bus, but my graphics card is capable of 4x, which would be 133Mhz. There is an option in the softswitch menu in the bios where I can set the AGP multiplier (in reference to the FSB clock), to either 2:3 or 1:1, and I could set this thing to 1:1 with a FSB of 133Mhz. Would doing that fry anything?
2)
Does anyone know of any issues running Xinerama on a Rage 128 Pro? I had a Voodoo3 in another slot that I was running a second monitor on, but when I started using the Rage, they wouldn't play nice with each other.
Thanks. |
