I've been using gxine for media. However, the blue gxine splash screen is terribly ugly. Is there anyway to remove that splashscreen? I'm not interested in people suggesting different media players at this point. I just want the splash screen removed. Thank you!  |

| Well, that removed the image of the splash screen. Unfortunately, now I get a small image with a "X" on it showing that it can't find the image. There's gotta be some way I can stop the program from showing the splash screen all together. Anybody have any ideas? |

Assuming gxine is based off xine (and that may be wrong?), I notice that xine offers two command-line parameters:
| Code: | xine --no-splash --no-logo
|
This starts xine up with a blank screen.
Maybe this is helpful.
