|
|
Hi:
I'm having a problem with alsa, I was using alsa 0.9.2 when alsa stop to work, I still can listen the sounds correctly from my tv card, connected to sound card. What means that alsa module are correctly configured, It could be the oss but I think it is correct.
I made emerge world, to update and it never worked again....
The programs I tried and worked before are for exemple mplayer, xmms, enemy territory. Xawtv it's transmiting the sound correctly.
I'm using kernel 2.4.22 mean while I already updated alsa to 1.0.1 but it's still doing the same.
My alsa conf:

## You need to customise this section for your specific sound card(s)

Why is everything in your setup listed twice? Start by getting rid of the duplicates and see if that fixes anything.
Also, for kicks, try running [/code] |

Are you running /etc/init.d/alsasound at start-up to restore your mixer settings, and have you checked these settings to make sure PCM is not simply muted? _________________ Gentoo's kind community
