USB Keyboard under X with kernel 2.6 - solved

I know that there are problems with particular usb keyboards with the new 2.6.x kernels. I have fixed the problem at the console doing what is recommended in this thread:

My issue now is how do i fix this in X? I am currently editing /etc/X11/xkb/keycodes/xfree86 to no avail.

-Sorted this out by using "xev" to find my keycode (note it was different from what showkeys reported) and put that in for the key and now all is sorted
