I just installed ALSA using the gentoo-guide. Booting I get the following message:
Quote: | Unable to find any ALSA Drivers. Have you compiled alsa-drivers correctly? |
I guess I can ignore this message because sound in kde works just fine and lsmod shows, that snd-via82xx is loaded.
Anyway, does someone know what's the cause of this message?
Is something wrong? |

Not that I know of, I think its b/c the drivers are compiled as modules and they are not loaded at the time when your ALSA is loading in the begging. I get this too on my laptop all the time. It dosent effect anything that I can see.
