Postfix install problems

[msb21]

After typing emerge --pretend net-mail/postfix net-mail/mutt

emerge returns in red
[block b] mta/ssmtp
[ebuild n] postfix-version

I type emerge net-mail/postifx and get the error,

!!!error: the virtual/mta package conflicts with this package and both can't be installed on the same system together.

Welll, emerge said that they both needed to be installed, how can I not install the mta?
