|
|
I know this MUST be a common problem because it says in the ebuild that when it goes wrong when checking for QT it's a problem with NVIDIA?!
Code: |
checking for Qt... configure: error: Qt (>= Qt 3.2) (library qt-mt) not found. Please check your installation!
For more details about this problem, look at the end of config.log.
Make sure that you have compiled Qt with thread support!
died running ./configure, kde_src_compile:configure
*
* Your KDE program installation died while running the configure script
*
* If the error died during the check for Qt, and you have Qt installed, the problem
* is most likely due to your nvidia drivers being configured improperly.
*
* Search forums.gentoo.org for help in setting them up properly. This is NOT a kde bug.

so wth is going on?
i can't find anything useful on "qt nvidia" in the search.
would anyone care to enlighten me? how do i configure my nvidia drivers properly?
edit: i don't use the gentoo nvidia ebuilds, just the package from minion.de _________________ f# that. |

I had the same error message. Unmerging qt and reemerging it seemed to fix it. I've had problems with the latest qt(3.2.3) as well - I've downgraded to 3.2.2 for the time being. |
