After I have installed Galeon I get nice anti-aliased fonts in Galeon and Mozilla. I did not change any other settings, emerge galeon was all that was required to produce this good result.
Previously I have looked into the anit-aliasing threads and could not add any new setting as all seemed to have been there already.
What is the reason for this surprising anti-aliasing with Galeon and Mozilla?
Versions:
Mozilla 1.0
Galeon 1.2.5 |

Is it possible that Galeon emerged something as a dependancy (such as a gdk-pixbuf version) that caused everything that uses GTK/GDK to start anti-aliasing? My Mozilla does this now for that reason, I think. I don't have Galeon, but I did emerge it at some point, and then got rid of it. _________________ Even a stopped clock gives the right time twice a day. |
