The liveCDs are the CDs which you use to install gentoo, one is bootable and the other has some nice packages. You can download the iso's from your closest mirror and burn them to CD or you can buy them. You'll need to choose the right one for the type of processor you have. _________________ Search | Read | Answer | Report | Strip |

i thought pentium m was at least a pentium 3 and i may be wrong but has sse2 like a p4. if you could download a complete live cd distro like knoppix[1] and type cat /proc/cpuinfo we will be able to tell you what to use in the make.conf.
also without wishing to be picky are you sure gentoo is for you its a rather hard install if like i suspect from your question you are a linux newbie, that said the forums and irc are helpful and you will learn a lot more than an "easy" rpm based distro .
[1] great for newbies and disater recovery _________________ Giay tay nam | Giay nam cao cap | Giay luoi |
