!2 new vulnerabilities were discovered in the last month and have been disclosed today. The announcement was made today and since the next version of Gaim isn't ready, a patch is included to fix the problems.

Will these vulnerability patches made by the FreeBSD folk be incorporated into the portage tree, and if so, how quickly ? Also, is this GLSA territory or no ? |

Apparently the patch has already been incorporated into 0.75-r7, but check the changelog in Portage to be sure. |

Yes, but why is that version still ~arch if this is a vulnerability fix ?
(haven't checked since last night, but was at that time) |

now it's stable
net-im/gaim-encryption is still masked tough |
