I'm attempting to switch to kernel 2.6.1 and have things mostly working, but have a few issues.
The first is with devfs. During boot I see the error message Quote: | Error setting event mask Device or resource busy | right after starting devfs. I searched this board and found this old posting:
https://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic.php?t=125666&highlight=error+setting+event+mask
However, my /etc/conf.d/rc file doesn't even have the code discussed in that article. So I'm not sure what's causing this. In the end, the system appears to be usable despite the error, but I do notice this strage behavior, which I assume is related:
Code: | # df

Any ideas what's wrong with my setup? |
