helo,
since I've update my ethereal package from 0.9.6 to 0.10.0a ethereal sucks up, when I'm starting capturing packages.
ethereal <-- frontend was loaded, crtl+k --> for capturing starting --> when I got the first packet ---> booom
** ERROR **: file ftypes.c: line 420 (fvalue_set): assertion failed: (fv->ftype->set_value)
aborting...
Aborted
ethereal -v
ethereal 0.10.0a
Compiled with GTK+ 2.2.4, with GLib 2.2.3, with libpcap 0.8, with libz 1.2.1,
with libpcre 4.4, without UCD-SNMP or Net-SNMP, without ADNS.
Running with libpcap version 0.8 on Linux 2.4.24
is anybody out there, who can verify that problem or can help me to fix the bug?
thanx,
pierre
