Big problem:
When I boot into gnome, I get a "/dev/sound not found" error.
So I go check, and indeed, this is missing. Therefore I decided to use the gentoo docs to install sound drivers.
However, these docs expect you to have /dev/sound, /dev/mixer, etc, wich are simply missing in my case. Somehow this also causes it to be impossible to install alsa drivers.
How can I get this fixed? |

Any errors, logs or segfaults about that? _________________ clue = if 0 == 0 then clue else error "The poster didn't have any clue when he posted this." |
