Anyone know how to run artsd out of a terminal so I can add it to .xinitrc? Currently I run a xterm, then the command: /usr/kde/3.1/bin/artsd -a alsa >/dev/null & If I close that window, artsd dies with it

close the window using the "exit" command, not by clicking the Close button.
