|
|
hi,
i have a pureftpd server running and have mapped to some SMB shares on my Windows box.
i am able to download all ascii files, but the binary ones always fail the error is:
450 Error during write to data connection
im thinking firewall problem, i have ports 20 an 21 set to accept, but why allow ascii files to transfer and not binary ???
anybody have any other ideas???
thanks

thanks all
got it solved
Jedi from the mailing list replied to me
Linux doesn't support the sendfile() system call with SMB,
so it has to be built with --without-sendfile.
i just edited my ebuild file to do that.
