I set up my Epson stylus photo 820 printer using the control center with KDE. It recognized my printer on my USB port and made for some easy installation. It looked like everything was going smooth and then it came to the print test page. CUPS said it was successful sending the job to the printer but the printer never printed. Im having trouble figuring out where to go from here. I have this problem using the control center and using CUPS wizard by pointing mozilla to localhost:631

I had a problem with the latest version of cups 1.1.15 i think. I fixed it by emerging cups 1.1.14 and away it went.

My problem was that jobs were being processed but cancelled straight away because of something not in Ghostscript.

Regards
Tim

Glad to be of assistance.

Gentoo is great but just every now and then there's a little problem.

Now that this has been solved, moving it from OTG to Hardware & Laptops where more people with the problem will hopefully find it.
