I tried to take a look at my kernel using KDE Control Center and I got this.....
Code: | Sorry
The Kernel configuration could not be read due to the following error:
/usr/src/linux/arch/i386/config.in, line55
#^parse error
Either your kernel sources contain invalid configuration rules or you just found a bug in the KDE Kernel Configurator |
Is this a bug? |

I get the same. And I'm wondering what's happening. Maybe this KDE Kernel Configurator is not ready for 2.6 kernel? For 2.4 it always worked perfectly |

To resolve your problem it's sufficient append "386" at the end of the line
VIA-C3-2 CONFIG_MVIAC3_2" 386.
I hope this can be useful for you |
