I tried to take a look at my kernel using KDE Control Center and I got this.....
Code:
Sorry
The Kernel configuration could not be read due to the following error:
/usr/src/linux/arch/i386/config.in, line55

#^parse error
Either your kernel sources contain invalid configuration rules or you just found a bug in the KDE Kernel Configurator

Is this a bug?

I get the same. And I'm wondering what's happening. Maybe this KDE Kernel Configurator is not ready for 2.6 kernel? For 2.4 it always worked perfectly

To resolve your problem it's sufficient append "386" at the end of the line
VIA-C3-2 CONFIG_MVIAC3_2" 386.
I hope this can be useful for you
