Running kernel gentoo-2.4.20 on an HP Omnibook 4150. I've configured apmd, and created an extra partition on my HD for hibernation (with lphdisk).

I can suspend to ram via the power button while logged into any number of vitrual terminals. I can hibernate via Fn + F8 so long as only one vt is logged in (doesn't matter which one). If I try to hibernate with more than one vt logged in, the system just hangs. I haven't even tried hibernating with with X open yet.

Any ideas?
