after grub, kernel starts to load, then screen garbage
splash is off,
here is my grub.conf
default 0
timeout 30
#splash yaddayadda
title= Gentoo
root (hd0,0)
kernel (hd0,0)/boot/kernel-2.6.1 root=/dev/hda3
Any ideas? |

Try disabling framebuffer.

ps. You can edit your kernel line at boot time by pressing e twice from the GRUB menu. |

hmm, it seemed like it was going to work at first.
but then it did the screen junk thing again.
I think I compiled framebuffer support in, should i just build a new new kernel? |
