just read the pre link how to and I'm going to do it.
The guide example shows to at /opt so its contents are not prelinked because the binaries in there MAY not be prelinkable
My questions:
I know folding at home is not prelinkable so I'll add that dir
a) is OpenOffice-bin pre linkable?
b) is Java pre linkable
I'd hope at least a) is because I'd like for openoffice to open someone faster. |

afaik, openoffice is prelinkable.. if you compiled it. It starts a lot faster, because the linker needs to work it's way through a million text-comparations to start open office.
I guess java can be prelinked too. If you run the blackdown-jdk it could be prelinked afaik. _________________ The best way to accelerate a windows server is by 9.81M/S²
