I was installing gentoo on a com and i keep getting errors saying /dev/null: premission denied. I even deleted everything and re-extracted the stage3-x86 tarball, but i still get the error. I'm installing from the most recent gentoo 1.4 x86 stage3 tar. It doesn't seem to be much of a problem, but it's weird, imo. _________________ Aim:gsfgf0 |

Is this after the chroot? Because if so, did you try Code: | mount -o bind /dev /mountpoint/dev | I kept running into that problem when I was trying to repair my broken system.
