You can probably use rsync to do the same thing, but i find this format especially useful for web projects, and keeping CVS files out of the way, etc, take a look.

Ah! Just what I've looked for a couple of days ago... I wanted to use something like this to upload my website to a hired server, but I ended up installing Apache locally cause I got fed up waiting. Thanks for the tip! _________________ Don't bother! |

I usually use sitecopy, which is also in portage, to update my website files... ( http://www.lyra.org/sitecopy/ )
