i already have 3.2-rc1 running, but 3.2.0 final won't compile. i always get this error when compiling kdebase-3.2.0:

/bin/install: reguläre Datei ,,/var/tmp/portage/kdebase-3.2.0/image//usr/kde/3.2/share/applnk/System/" kann nicht angelegt werden: Ist ein Verzeichnis
make[4]: *** [install-data-local] Fehler 1
make[4]: Leaving directory `/var/tmp/portage/kdebase-3.2.0/work/kdebase-3.2.0/kcontrol/kcontrol'
make[3]: *** [install-am] Fehler 2
make[3]: Leaving directory `/var/tmp/portage/kdebase-3.2.0/work/kdebase-3.2.0/kcontrol/kcontrol'

make[1]: *** [install-recursive] Fehler 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/var/tmp/portage/kdebase-3.2.0/work/kdebase-3.2.0/kcontrol'
make: *** [install-recursive] Fehler 1

!!! ERROR: kde-base/kdebase-3.2.0 failed.
!!! Function kde_src_install, Line 185, Exitcode 2
!!! died running make install, kde_src_install:make

i'm installing it with the following command:

export DO_NOT_COMPILE="doc kappfinder kate kdebugdialog khelpcenter khotkeys kpersonalizer kscreensaver ktip kxkb drkonqi klipper" && emerge -v kdebase-3.2.0.ebuild

i've already deleted the whole /var/tmp/portage directory, no success. could it be my DO_NOT_COMPILE settings?

thanks
tom

from some of the mirrors mentioned on www.kde.org. portage didn't find the file, so i downloaded it manually. md5 sum was correct.

First of all, the errors you get is in german so it will limit the usefull response here in Desktop. A better place to post this would have been in the German forum.

Secondly, you have pasted in way too little of the errors as I'm sure there are lines above what you pasted in with the real errors.

In the regular support forums, please use English, else use the localized forums.
