Hi there,
I use Gnome,
does anybody know how I set up evolution to do email notification (anywhere but preferably in the status dock). Can evolution do anything like this? didn't find it in any option, nor in the FAQ or manual. The reason I do not use an applet for this is because I do not want to login to my account twice every 10 minutes, once to check for email and once to download the emails, and because I have two accounts to check and don't like two applets.
somebody?,....

You waited 8 years for the answer to this question...Don't worry buddy, hold on tight! I am bumping you up. Let's see if some evo-maniac helps you out this time. |

Well, I'm not on Evolution (neither on Gnome) anymore, but maybe we should be talking about mail-client/mail-notification? As far as I can remember it could "talk" directly to Evolution, without providing POP/IMAP login information.
BTW, cfr. https://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-644594.html (for instance...) |
