I am looking to connect from one Gentoo box to another using the Gnome desktop.
When Gnome added the XDMCP feature to their desktop, I was easily able to connect to my Gentoo box from my Windows box using a product like Exceed.
Now that I am no longer using Windows, I want to accomplish the same thing using two Gentoo boxes. I am not worried about security since the two boxes I am connecting are on a private network attached via GigE/crossover cable.
I have Gentoo with Gnome 2.4 installed on both boxes. Is there a simple command or utility that will allow me to bring up box A's Gnome desktop on box B's Gnome desktop like you can do with Exceed? I already have X security disabled where I can successfully export an xclock, xterm etc. to box B from box A.
I think this can be done using something like VNC, but if X/Gnome support this nativly, I would like to give it a try.
Thank You
