Hi
Im just woundering what kinda speeds you guys get when burning in k3b.
I have tested both atapi and scsi emulation, but i can't burn faster than 1.4x
Something that bothers me, since i got an 4x dvdrecorder and my dvd discs are 4x g4 discs (One of the bests dvd discs on the market)
Any suggestions to speed up the dvdburning will be apreciated  |

I've been able to reach 2x with k3b using my Pioneer DVR-106 and Verbatim +/- media (2x media). This is using scsi emulation as I haven't felt like screwing around with my config since moving to the newer kernel and cdrecord versions. I haven't found cheap 4x media yet so haven't been able to test the limits of my burner yet.
One thing I have noticed is that in some circumstances k3b defaults to 1x burning, are you sure it is set to use the maximum speed? |

Of courz, when the burn is complete k3b says its been burned at 4x.
But since it took ages, and the log files shows an avrage speed of 0.9, i don't belive it  |
