Has anyone got mailgraph to parse syslog-ng log files? Been scouring the internet and forums looking for insight into this.
Thanks for your time! |

Works perfectly here on two boxes with syslog-ng. Though it won't work with Metalog as it is not Syslog compatible. |

I'm using syslog-ng to recieve logs from my mail servers and then using mailgraph to generate graphs from the log. I have set the option in syslog-ng.conf remove_if_older and it wasn't working. I did a stat on the the log file and all three times are today so I think the mailgraph script must be changing the all three MAC times. Has anybody else experienced this or have any suggestions on how to fix it. _________________ 01001010 01010100 01001000 01001010 |

I'm pretty sure it's tail that is changing the mactimes. I can understand it updating the accessed time but I don't see that changed or modified should be updated by tail. Anyone have any thoughts? _________________ 01001010 01010100 01001000 01001010 |
