Mini Gentoo.. take your desktop anywhere!

In a nutshell I figured id like to have the possibility of taking my gentoo desktop with me, apps and all.. I would really like to fit it on a 210M mini-cd..

I have looked at knoppix and other installs but they dont give me what I want, my desktop.

I was going to try to install gentoo on a 750M partition and get rid of the extra bloat and copy most of my packages over removing minor things, the question is:
what packages are required for gentoo to run?

is there a list of things required? id imagine the live cd now has plenty of extra things you dont need to run the install of a cd,.

just an idea, any suggestions would be great, thanks.
