hi installing gentoo on an oldworld system. get this message:
kernel panic: no init found. try passing init= option to kernel
in bootX there's already a kernel argument:
ramdisk_size=8192
how and what do I add to this?
I tried:
ramdisk_size=8192 init /bin/bash
and:
ramdisk_size=8192 init=/bin/bash
but neither improved the situation(same error)

to follow up on my own post...
I have a copy of initrd.img.gz in system folder->Linux Kernels along with vmlinux and System.map
I point BootX to this initrd.img.gz by clicking Use Specified RAM Disk...
hope this clears things up..
