When I reboot it says that I have to do a manual repair (and enter in root's password). Try reiserfsck with --fix-fixable and then --repair-tree when it tells me to do so. Also ran --repair-sb (after a few reboots testing previous attempts to fsck it) but I'm not sure I should've done that.
More details: / partition is a software raid array (level 0). Reiserfsck (I seem to remember now...) complains that the filesystem is mounted read-only (?) but I'm unable to umount and mount it again (says that /dev/md/0 is in use).
Please don't tell me I have to install Gentoo all over again. I've spent about a month trying to get this thing running! (I built the box so I can eventually run MythTV and I thought the Gentoo install would be the easy part of the equation.... now considering giving up and just installing Windows Media Center).
Thanks for any help. I'm totally lost and want to know my options before blowing everything out and starting again.

Thanks, I'll try that. Hopefully all my --rebuild-sb and --rebuild-tree ing didn't screw something up royally.
