Hello all,

I have just emerge KDE successfully then i rebooted and started it.
I also have the previous versions on my laptop,
I did "emerge -uD world" and it emerged kde 3.2 as New not Update.
I opened the console after logging in,
and wanted to "su",

but as I gave in my root password
it said "su: Permission denied"
I know I gave it in correctly,
because when I log in the usual console (STRL+ALT+F1)
it works.
Also if I try to open a tool that needs root permission,
it says: "password incorrect"

pls can anyone help me

ensure that your user is also part of:
audio, users

if you had yourself as a member of wheel and now its gone, just check for good measure that your other groups are still present for yourself...
