|
|
Hi,
i have some weird issues with my new system here. I got everything running fine so far, except one thing:
My System consumes memory like crazy. I got 1 GB RAM but free are just something like 4MB. Back on my 32Bit System i had no problems at all with this.
The PCs specs:
- Athlon64 3200+
- MSI K8T Neo
- 1 GB RAM
- 1 SATA HD
Stuff installed:
Gentoo-Dev-Sources 2.6.3_rc2 (did happen with previous verions also. Tried with/witout smp or iommu)
Gnome 2.4
What am i missing ? _________________ e = pi = 3

Is the RAM REALLY used or is it just cached/buffered? _________________ My tech-blog | My other blog |
