Is there something like iptraf for ttyS0 ?

I hope I'm not posting this in the wrong section, but here it goes.

I've got a PalmV pda connected via serial port ttyS0. I was wondering if there is any tool with which you can monitor what gets sent through the serial port on the computer. Sort of like iptraf for monitoring a network connection.

Its nothing important really, I was just curious and wanted to see what sort of stuff gets transfered during a hotsync.
