|
|
Hi,
I'm currently searching for a programm that lets me convert a "simple" html4.0+css file in a printable format like ps.
I know that every up-to-date gui-browser can show those files on screen and offers a "print"-function that does a pretty good job, but I'm looking for a commandline-tool that does this printing job.
I used the last day to search for a tool, but something like html2ps and everything else I found, do not support css enough.
Is somebody aware of a tool or a combination of tools that can do the job?
Thanks and Greetings _________________ This signature is left as an exercise for the reader. |

Unfortunately it does not support CSS yet (it will in the next version...)
Thanks for your help!

htmldoc uses the CUPS layout engine, which AFAICR is not ideal and is nowhere near as powerful as Gecko or KHTML.
It's crazy - Gecko is easily embeddable, why has no-one looked into embedding it headless and calling the print code? |
