I am making some DVD case covers and wanted to make one for Gentoo. The images at http://www.gentoo.org/main/en/graphics.xml are nice but do not have the logo on it's own. I would like the logo, larry the cow, the flying saucer thing, and the "Gentoo" wording. The earliest (ie non compressed) the better. The 3d source files would be very nice too. I will upload them, GPL or whatever. Realy I would just put it into the public domain but that all depends on what the images are released under. |

There is a whole load of images, mainly icons and wallpaper, which may be useful:
Code: | emerge gentoo-artwork |

I am no longer running Gentoo. Once I get my file server set up... |

For some odd reason, when kde goes to play a system sound, it just emits a burst of static instead of the actual sound. I have XMMS set to use alsa for it's output, and it works fine.
Any way to fix this for KDE?
Also, I need to give mad props to this community, it only took a couple days to get a fairly complete gentoo install running, through reading guides and forum posts. Thanks! |

It seems that arts (a daemon of KDE that handles sound), is enabled, but not properly configured. You can find it at the Control Center under Sound & Multimedia -> Sound System. _________________ Registered linux user #341804
