Hello,
Ultimamente prendo sempre questo "errore"
Quote: |
* Caching service dependencies...
* Service 'vcron' already provide 'cron'!;
* Not adding service 'vixie-cron'... |
che poi non so a cosa e' dovuto, mi e' apparso dopo aver fatto un "emerge -e world". Ma non ho la piu palida idea di cosa significa ho trovato 2 files sulla dir /etc/init.d/ . Sia vcron kai vixie-cron..
Grazie _________________ A happy GNU/Linux user!! |

Thank you, I did the oposite thing "rm -rf /etc/init.d/vixie-cron" and it worked. The weird thing is that esearch doesnt seem to find any program called "vcron" on the system?! heh _________________ A happy GNU/Linux user!! |

Vixie-cron changed its runlevel script fron vcron to vixie-cron. _________________ Enjoy your freedom.

if the system created a similar file why gentoo tries to start them both at "default" level?
The problem did not end anyway, I had to uninstall vixie-cron and install dcron, then delete vixie-cron and vcron from /etc/init.d/ now its working fine. _________________ A happy GNU/Linux user!! |
