Hello I have gentoo installed on my thinkpad and cannot seem to get the screen settings right I cant get it to go over 480x600 and im not sure why. I have my xf86config right i think. Is there a differnt setting for LCD's or something that i missing perhaps? Thanks for any help you could provide

Well i really cant post it its on another machine. As far as whats going on its saying that it cannot find the vga driver or module which is weird. I can get x to come up just cant any bigger screen res than 600x400. Been googling for weeks and searching forums but just cannot find any answers. I have had linux OS's on it b4 I dont know why now its all of a sudden went haywire |
