Ok. Using latest love sources. I have a Happauge WinTV card with the remote sensor.
Steps I've taken:
compiled kernel with modules: bt848, i2c_core, i2c_algo_bit
emerged lirc-.0.7pre2 with LIRC_OPTS="--with-driver=happauge" got an error about Rules in Makefile.
emerged lirc-.0.7.0pre2 with LIRC_OPTS="--with-driver=none". Compiled fine. It created the /dev/lirc/lirc0.
But.......the problem is when I start lircd it says: there's no hardware I can use and no peers are specified. I've check the /etc/conf.d/lircd file. In the LIRC_OPTS it has -d /dev/lirc/lirc0.
Why can't I connect to it? |
