Ok heres the deal...
I have an NF7-S 2.0 motherboard, a MS keyboard (ps/2) and USB logitech mouse. Everything works great, except... when i hit several keys on the keyboard and move the mouse, all of the sudden the mouse freaks out and flys all over the place, clicking, moving, etc. i have to stop moving the mouse for about 2 seconds before i can move it normal again. Ive tried to fix this for a while. Ive changed protocols (ps/2 imps/2 explorerps/2) and ive tried mouse devices (/dev/psaux, dev/usbmouse) they all do the same thing. And ive even tried another keyboard, same thing. a PS2 mouse .. same thing except if just freezes the mouse, and i have to restart x before it works again, unlike the usbmouse where i can just stop moving it. On my brother's machine, which is basically the same setup except with a via 400 based motherboard, it doesnt do that. Everything works good and i can hit as many keys as i want while moving the mouse. This is really pissing me off ebcause i can hardly play games, i have to be super carful not to move the mouse and type at the same time (keeps me from playing fps games).
Does anyone have this problem? Anyone with my motherboard have this problem or does you shit work fine? _________________ AXP 1700+ @ 2.2GHz (220x10), Abit NF7-S 2.0, 768MB Twinmos PC3200, Radeon 9100, Gentoo :> |
