I went to kernel 2.6.5 and ut2004 now crashes to desktop. I am unable to start it from a console to check the output since bash claims the folder does not exist. I reinstalled UT2004 and get the same problem. I do have my log:

What folder does bash claim to be non-existent?

ut2004. I can see it and browse it in KDE. I can not do anything with it in a term window. I can ls and see it but if I attempt to do anything like run ut2004, or cd into the directory it tells me there is no such thing.

Yes. It did find and fix some errors. Starting UT2004 in a console gives me this:

Code:
ReadFile beyond EOF 0+4/0

History:

Exiting due to error

Which is more or less what the log said before

i would try installing the game in a different partition (diff hard drive would be better) and see if that works. i've installed 2.6.5 and ut2004 works fine for me. imho that log just screams of file system problems.
