Compaq 5630 PentiumII
Any tips to help configure a kernel that will boot? Any clue on how to work it out? Is there doco on netlink socket that would help? I've googled. No luck.
Currently recourse is to boot LiveCD, mount /mnt/gentoo ..., make menuconfig, made dep, make bzImage modules modules_install, reboot. Is there a better way to work this out.

I turned off Power Management Support in General Setup. Kernel boots, and I can login. Does that make sense? (I may have changed something else. My kids are messing with my change management system.)
Hope this at least helps someone else. |
