salve,
ho voluto installare qtparted, un clone con GUI del famoso "parted". L'errore che prendo al momento del installazione e' :

Quello che non capisco e' se l'errore mi dice che, devo installare una versione piu vechia oppure qualcos'altro. E poi come faccio a capire se le QT sono compilate con "thread" support? Mi pare che una flag simile non esiste nelle use

Sembrerebbe che qtparted abbia bisogno delle qt 3.1.x. Potresti commentare la riga nell'ebuild di qtparted
ma non so gli effetti.
Il supporto per "thread" dovrebbe esserci (almeno io a scuola ho sviluppato in qt con thread e non ho avuto problemi).

incece nel sito ufficiale ce scritto che vanno meglio le qt 3.2.x 
Ma che opzioni ho? Dovrei fare un downgrade delle qt? Se installo 2 versioni diverse avro dei problemi? 
il fatto e' che non mi fido di parted

Andrebbe fatto l'aggiornamento dell'ebuild. Potresti aprire un bug report.

okay fatto,
grazie ragazzi..
e' la prima volta che faccio submint un bug report , spero di non aver
fatto qualche danno, mi sento come se avessi fatto qualcosa di "importante" hahaha 
cmq vedo di risolvere con parted per il momento,
