Hi!
I'm trying to make a KDE web shortcut for the gentoo forum search. For those who do not know what I mean: if you type "gg:search" in konqueror, it will search google for "search".
What I want is a shortcut "gentoo" searching the gentoo forum. For this reason I looked at the source code of the search page https://forums.gentoo.org/search.php.
As the search uses POST variables to send the data, you can't see it in the url. So I tried to reconstruct a GET string.
And I came up with this:
Code: | http://forums.gentoo.org/search.php?mode=results&search_terms=all&show_results=topics&search_keywords=portage |
In spite of that the results are shown as posts, not topics.
Does anybody know what's wrong/missing?
And by the way, is there a tool or proxy which analyzes what exactly was sent to the server? |
