2.6 and CPU messages

Just wondering if anyone else gets this type of thing while running 2.6 kernel?

yes, i used to get those messages (one every bootup). then my motherboard died, and i got it replaced with an identical model. i havent seen the message again on my new board..

i get alot of those messages when compiling something with my mobo/cpu (A7N8X/AMD 2000+)
don't compile the MCE in the kernel, the messages will disapear
