Hi, i've just god a new computer with Serial ATA support. I'm trying to install gentoo, however i'm having a lot of trouble.
I booted using:
Code: |
gentoo doataraid vga=794
|
I have a Promise card (integrated) so i executed:
lots of errors, and a line telling me i should look at the dmesg, there it says:
Code: |
Promise Fasttrak(tm) Softwareraid driver 0.03beta: No raid array found
|
Dit create an array though...
Any ideas?

I'm guessing (hoping) that you are intentionaly trying to set up an SATA-RAID. You have to actually create the array, it doesn't do it automatically. |

I did.
It's configured as a single array with two drives in stripe-mode. |
