Hi,
I have a hardware RAID 5 machine that was working fine for 8 months. Suddenly recently I started getting I/O errors on reads/writes to the filesystem and on the login screen there were reisurfs read failure messages. I have seen this problem before on a non-raid machine, but I would have thought that hardware failure would be a highly unlikely cause for this error in this instance. Can anyone think of a good explanation why this may be happening?
